What we can’t take

Common questions
Do you recycle the electronics or just dump them?
We recycle and donate whatever we can. Working computers and TVs can often go to donation partners, and the rest goes to electronics recyclers so the metals, glass, and plastics stay out of the landfill. Some items genuinely have no second life, and those are disposed of responsibly.
Can you take an old heavy tube TV or projection set?
Yes. Those old CRT and projection TVs are some of the most common things people call us about because they are too heavy and awkward to move alone. Our crew handles the lifting and carry-out for you.
Do I need to unplug or move anything to the curb first?
No. Leave it where it sits. We unplug, unmount, and carry everything out ourselves, whether it is upstairs, in a basement, or tucked in a closet.
Will you wipe my data off computers and hard drives?
We are a hauling and recycling company, not a data-destruction service, so we cannot certify a secure data wipe. If your devices hold sensitive information, remove or wipe the hard drives before pickup, or ask us and we will point you toward a certified data-destruction option.
Is there anything electronic you cannot take?
We cannot take anything classified as hazardous waste, which includes loose batteries, fluorescent tubes, and bulk lots of broken bulbs. We are a U-Haul and box-truck startup, so very large commercial server racks or industrial machinery may be beyond what our trucks handle. Ask us first and we will tell you straight.
